Claude prompts

The 25 Most-Searched Claude Topics, Each With a Copy-Paste Prompt and the Best Video

The short answer

The Claude prompts people search for most are not "Claude prompts for X" — every one of those gets under 750 YouTube searches a month. The real demand is for the features and use cases: Claude Cowork (1.01M monthly searches), Claude Skills (708K), Claude Code (351K), Artifacts, MCP, Agents, Projects, then marketing, business, prompt engineering, real estate, research. This page ranks the top 25 by real search volume, checked September 6, 2026, and gives each one a prompt you can paste and the one video that teaches it best.

Every time you go back and forth with Claude you pay for all of it — the question, the wrong answer, the retry. A proven prompt skips that; somebody else already paid for the mistakes. These are the 25 things people actually type into YouTube about Claude, with a starter prompt for each and the video I would send you to.

How this list was made

Volumes are monthly YouTube search estimates from the vidIQ keyword tool, pulled on September 6, 2026 through my own account. Video picks follow one rule: Anthropic's own channel wins when it teaches the thing directly; otherwise the most-watched tutorial from the last six months that actually matches the search. Every video's title and channel was confirmed through YouTube's oEmbed endpoint the same day, so nothing here is misattributed. The prompts are mine — written to get a usable result on the first try, which is the whole point.

The 25, by search volume

#1Claude Cowork

Search: claude cowork · 1,012,648 YouTube searches a month

Hand Claude a folder and a job and let it work inside your files instead of pasting things into a chat.

You have access to the folder I connected. Before doing anything, list what is in it and tell me what you think the job is. Then do this: [describe the outcome — e.g. turn the 12 invoices into one spreadsheet with a total per client]. Save the result in the same folder with a clear filename and tell me exactly what you changed and what you did not touch.

Stop re-teaching Claude the same job every session. A skill is a saved set of instructions it loads when the task matches.

Turn the way we just did [task] into a reusable skill. Write it as a SKILL.md with: a one-line description of when to use it, the exact steps in order, the checks to run before calling it done, and the two mistakes we hit this time and how to avoid them. Keep it under 300 words.

Build or fix software from the terminal by describing what you want, without writing the code yourself.

Before you write any code: read the project, then tell me in plain English how it is structured and where the thing I want to change lives. Then propose a plan in numbered steps and stop. I will say go. When I do, make the smallest change that works, run the tests, and show me the diff.

Get a working page, tool, or document you can see and use, not a wall of text.

Build this as a single self-contained HTML artifact I can open on my phone: [what it does]. Use plain, readable design, no external libraries, and put every setting I might want to change as a clearly labelled variable at the top of the code. When it works, tell me the three things you would improve next and stop.

Search: claude mcp · 125,629 YouTube searches a month

Plug Claude into your real tools — calendar, files, a database, a web scraper — so it can act, not just talk.

I want Claude to be able to [read my calendar / search the web / query my database]. Tell me: which MCP server does this, whether it is official or community, what it needs from me (keys, logins), what it can and cannot do, and the one-paragraph config I paste. Then give me a single test command that proves it is connected.

Design an agent for this recurring job: [job]. Define the trigger, the inputs it needs, the steps in order, the checks that must pass before it is allowed to finish, and what it should do when a check fails. Then tell me the one thing that could go wrong that I would not notice for a week.

Give Claude the background once — your brand, your rules, your files — so every chat starts already briefed.

Write the project instructions for a Claude Project about [my business / my book / my channel]. Include: who I am in two lines, who the audience is, the voice rules with one example each of do and don't, the facts that must never be changed, and what to ask me before starting any new piece of work. Keep it under 400 words so it does not eat the context.

Here are three things I wrote that sound like me: [paste]. Study the rhythm and word choice. Now write [a launch email / 10 hooks / a 30-day content calendar] for [product] aimed at [who]. Match my voice. For each piece, give me one line on why it should work, and flag any claim I would need to prove.

I run [type of business], solo. List every recurring task in my week that takes over 30 minutes and is mostly the same each time. For the top three, write the standard operating procedure you would follow to do it for me, and tell me what you would need access to. Be honest about which ones you should not be trusted with yet.

#13Claude for research

Search: claude for research · 26,430 YouTube searches a month

A researched answer with sources you can actually click, not a confident paragraph.

Research [question]. Rules: cite a source for every factual claim, prefer primary sources (the company's own page, the study itself, the statute) over articles about them, and tell me the date each source was last updated. Where sources disagree, show me both and say which you trust more and why. End with what you could not verify.

What nobody is searching for

Every "Claude prompts for [job]" phrase I checked — coding, business, students, content creators, YouTube, social media, writing a book — came back under 750 monthly searches. People do not search for prompt lists. They search for the feature (Cowork, Skills, Code, Projects) or the outcome (marketing, research, a job). If you make content about Claude, that is the lesson: name the feature or the outcome, not the word "prompts".

Questions people ask

Do these prompts work in ChatGPT or Gemini?

Mostly, yes — they are plain instructions, not Claude-specific syntax. The ones about Cowork, Skills, Projects and Artifacts name Claude features that other tools call something else or lack.

Why is the volume for "claude prompts" so low if this page ranks by it?

Because that is what the data shows. "Claude prompts" gets about 12,700 searches a month; "claude cowork" gets a million. The page is ranked by what people search, not by what I wish they searched.

How often is this updated?

Volumes move fast on new features. The check date is in the byline; when I re-pull the numbers the date changes.

What is in the email pack?

Twelve prompts I run in my own sessions and three skills written as SKILL.md files. They are about working method — verifying before asserting, laying out options before building, logging the day — not about any one job.
